so i am in a bit of a pickle
i thought i was going to be able to pay rent this month with the money that was in my bank account. i assumed i had- without getting too specific- over 400 dollars left in it, which would've been enough money for rent.
as it turns out. i have much, much, much less than that.
due to the grace and mercy of the person i live with, i'm not getting charged this month, but i don't want to risk getting that mercy next month, and i don't want to move away from here because this is the best place for me right now
so if you want to help, i'm trying to get commissions going- you can check them out in my pinned post- now, my situation from that pinned post has changed largely since then, and that's a part of the reason why i'm making this post
if you can't afford a commission or don't want one, that's fine- there will be a thing or two happening next month that *may* give me a chance of getting the money i need, but i'm putting this out there in case they end up failing or not going through- just trying to be safe. the best thing you can do other than commission me is just to reblog this and spread the word. i'm trying to get at *least* 400 dollars by the end of july.

Hi friends, as some of you guys know, my best friend Allanah is in need of mutuaI aid. She is fighting leukemia, and her chemotherapy meds alone is 1,500 pesos PER PILL. She needs to take midostaurin 4 times a day EVERY DAY 😵💫
Allanah was mainly the one who was working for her family, and rn she is in need of our help now that she is too sick to work. Her chemo, just her chemo is costing about 120-125 usd A DAY. She needs to be on chemo for TWO YEARS at least.

Please please please. this post has gone the rounds, but Allanah has only received 10 usd, and not even 100 usd from the last round, and not enough for even 1 week of chemo. Hi guys, this has gone the rounds, but this is an update as of June 28, 2023.
Allanah has been fighting Leukemia for a year now, and we've stopped campaigning for a bit as we've found stability with 40% of gofundme funded, but now we have run out of funds again. Allanah takes midostaurin as her main chemo, which is not available in the philippines and has to be shipped all the way from India. These meds are lifesaving as her cancer has a rare mutation and needs careful observation. Please please *please* if you only reblog one of my posts, let it be this one. She runs out of her chemo next month, which is only a couple of days away. We also live in the global south, and can only receive so much government aid.. Thank you so much, any help at all is a godsend.

That source leaves out the key detail that the Wagner group are NeoNazis.
In fact it also leaves out a lot of the more extreme, blatant red flags Wagner members have been saying that make it clear when they say the Kremlin is compromised by a "clan of oligarchs" they mean Jews and "degenerates." ABC is just posting the more sanitized comments that anti-Putin western audiences would agree with, which is pretty upsetting because again these are literal NeoNazis and no one should be supporting them.
The Wagner group were not helpless soldiers following orders in a war they didn't believe in, they were the group doing some of the worst atrocities who are only mad now because they're losing.
Begging people not to fall for the trap of "hating Putin" meaning someone is good. A fascist imperialist is suffering military defeats which makes him look weak, so his Nazi death squad is trying to seize power. This is a "bite each other's dicks off" situation where we want both sides to lose. You do not, under any circumstances, have to hand it to the Wagner group.
also before it starts to happen: if i see a single person calling july "gay wrath month" or saying "we deserve a second one" it is ON SIGHT. that is DISABILITY PRIDE MONTH. abled queers i will run you over with my wheelchair if you so much as reblog one of those comments.

Hello! Disabled person here. Did you know those of us declared legally disabled and collect SSI and benefits are barred from getting married? Yep! I'm also queer so this isn't hate at all, it's a call to action: if you love marriage equality, come help us fight for ours.
It's midnight here, so happy disability pride month to my fellow disableds, the chronically ill, and also to the temporarily abled.
If your activism doesn't include disability, you're sure as fuck going to wish it did.

july is disability pride month !! so, here’s a reminder that respect isn’t something disabled people should have to earn or fight for, but something that should be given naturally, this month and every month.
there is still so much ableism not just in the wider society, but in queer spaces and communities, even amongst other disabled people - as a person with autism, i am part of the disabled community, but i know that that i still have more privilege than people with physical disabilities who are harmed by the unaccommodating design of our buildings and public spaces; or more stigmatised metal disorders and disabilities such as psychosis, schizophrenia and dissociative disorders.
so, this disability pride month i urge not just for more respect in the wider community, but within the disabled community itself. celebrate your own disability/ies, but make sure you celebrate other disabilities too and never put someone down for being ‘more’ or differently disabled than you.
